Truck Emblem Removal ( debadging)
I was looking at the rear of my new truck and the F150 emblem is in the middle of the tailgate to the left of the Ford emblem.
I want to remove it to lace it one the bottom left of the tailgate for balance. I tried to use fishing line to remove it but not a success. Anyone know if they are drilled into the trucks' tailgate like they use to do back in the days?
thanks,
craig

You can remove the flex fuel badge
I did that and removed the dealers sticker logo along with fords XTR sticker. Looks much cleaner. Emblems are blacked out till I can afford a body shop to do the debadge

The rear F-150 logo is held on by Double sided tape and two plastic tabs (one on each end of the logos rear)with metal clips, that snap into two Holes in your tailgate! Relocation is Not a Option! Sorry for the Bad News...
I felt the same way as I wanted to remove all the F-150 logos on my truck, as I always have on my GM trucks in the past.... All the F-150 logos on the truck have Holes behind them, retarded IMO...

There are 2 clips holding that f150 badge along with tape to the tailgate. The clips are aprox an inch in from each end and are vertical on the badge. It will leave some bigger holes in your tailgate. The badge itself also has beveled top and bottom edges to fit where it does.
