Trouble finding correct coolant to buy
2014 F150 3.5 EcoBoost
Can't find the exact coolant for this engine as out lined in the manual.
Will this work? How does Fords coolant naming system work? Does this stuff supercede what's outlined in my manual?
I'm about to just buy right from Ford what do?
Thanks in advance hopefully this turns into a useful thread when it comes to Ford's coolants.

Just buy it straight from Ford. I'm about to pick some up for mine as I'll need it for the turbo swap. I don't like the idea of mixing, but that's me.

I just went with 50/50 Dex cool as that's all my local auto shop had in stock (for my truck) at the time. Meets fords requirements. Haven't had an issue with it in my last truck or my current truck. I think it's a tad cheaper then Motorcraft.

The service manager at my dealership said that Dexcool was the the same as Motorcraft Orange and it was OK to mix them. I mixed them on my 2011 and never had any issues in 3.5 years.

stick with the ford motorcraft coolant. I bought some on Amazon a few months ago. I also wouldn't waste my money on the pre diluted coolant. Just buy the concentrated and as much distilled water as you need.

Like others, I put Prestone Dexcool in my cooling system 2 years ago and it has been fine. My research showed that it is the same as the Specialty Orange Ford Coolant. Much less expensive, when on sale at CT or WM.
