It will give you a copy of your window sticker with your trim level listed, as well as all accessories.
That's an awesome link! I just ran the Vin at the end of that link you posted and sure enough... It's an FX4. It's pretty cool to see the original eindow sticker. One thing that's sad though is that the sticker said 18 mpg city and 25 highway. I don't get anywhere near that! Im averaging 12city and 18-20 highway.

Strange. He should have bought a lariat.
Glad yours is an fx4 tho.
Ridiculous as it sounds. Swap out the air filter. I waited till 20,000 and it was filthy black. Choking the hell out of the engine. I was down to a consistent 13 mpg's. Now it hasn't dropped below 16 around town, since a stupid simple fix like that.
Never will I forget on this truck again.

Mine has a cold air intake. Will that affect the gas mileage?

Wow! I don't know how you could tell but I think your right. It looks like it is a chrome overlay. I can see the paint to match under the chrome when I pryed it up a bit. I'm a little hesitant to take it off because who knows what condition the original grill is in. I suppose if I'm careful I can always put it back on until I can order another grill. Now, I just need to figure out how to take it off

I think the giveaway was the recessed Ford emblem.

It does look like it might be this: http://www.sleekautoaccessories.com/...overlay-by-cci

Take a look at the back of the grill and see if there are any clips holding the overlay in place. You might be able to undo them and check the state of the grill underneath.

Thanks for the link to the video Falcoln. Looks like they go on easy enough. Should be able to get it off with a little more effort. I'll take a look at it this afternoon and let you know how it goes

The giveaway for me was the pieces between the bars are chrome which only comes with overlays, if it was a oem ford chrome grille those pieces would be black.

Well, I tried to take off the chrome. I got all the clips off, I had to break some of them... But unfortunately it is also held on with 3M tape. Although the drivers side tape was not really secure, the passenger side is not letting go. Looks like I'll have to buy a new grill and pay to have it ptm... Pretty bummed
