Default Transmission surging

When I accelerate to anywhere from 5 to 15mph and hold constant the transmission starts surging fast in 1st and 2nd gear. Almost like it cant decide which gear it should be in. I drive a 2012 F150 FX2 with 5.0L engine. Has been doing this for a while now.

When you took it to the dealership for diagnosis, what did they determine?

Default Transmission surging

Well the first time I was told they are aware of it and looking into it but have no fix at that time. This was about 6 months ago. Now it seems like it has got worse. I have another appointment set up for Wednesday the 2nd. I will post what happens after that.

Default Tranmission surging

Ok so they told me they fixed the problem but I have not picked up the truck yet to be sure if they did or did not. Also told me their is a bulletin out now for this issue. Told me the fix is to reprogram the TCM. Hope this helps.

Please let us know what the TSB they applied when you get the truck back.
