Transmission Slipping When Cold

Transmission Slipping When Cold
I have a 2014 F150 w/302 6 spd auto with 96,000 miles. I have recently noticed the trans slipping on cold mornings. It seems to correct after 5 minutes of driving.
I tried checking the fluid level but there is no longer a dip stick and you have to check it while running. It didn't seem safe so I will take it to the dealer.
Is the fluid low? Or is my trans on the way out? What do you all think?

I think it is cold outside and you have to behave slightly differently. Transmission fluid doesn't really get warm when warming up the vehicle, only when driving. Unless you warm it up for a LONG time. Could also be low, but that shouldn't be unless you have a leak.

The dip stick is located under the vehicle, easiest way to get to it is slide in under the front passenger door area. Google for a photo, it blends in with the pan if you don't know what you're looking for.
