I wonder what Fords definition of a real transmission issue is compared to ours. I’ve always considered a transmission problem a failure but that may not qualify with the technology of the new transmissions. When you’re on the side of the road because the transmission crapped out is one thing but not liking the way it shifts or sounds I believe is something else.

Bump slip, slight shudder when accl. From a stop, no leaks, harsh shift 2-1, 1-2. Slight delay when wot at about 40 mph, then harsh downshift. Haven't had a chance to take it to the dealer yet, but will.

I would agree, but when shifts cause a disturbance while driving, and there are several tsb's about it, then seems like more than just not liking the way it shifts.

As long as there are tbs's for specific problem I would also agree that would be a valid issue.

No transmission leak yet, does not shift right. Shifting is hard sometimes. Almost feels like if you got rear ended.

Been having this shifting issue since day 3 after i picked it up from the dealer. Took it in once, they said they fixed it by flashing it, and 2 weeks after that, same problems.
Looking on taking it back in for second oil change and having them look at it again. They said this time they would keep it for 1 to 2 weeks and have someone drive it daily. I am not too sure about that though. Unless they give me another truck to drive, they ain't keeping mine for that long!

Harsh shifts from 1-2,2-1. Rough idle at a red light or stop

Shifts fine when driving. Shifts hard when putting into reverse sometimes. Thats about it.
