Default transmission problem? please help

sorry im posting so much, this is the most amazing place ive ever been though! sometimes when i turn my truck on and shift from park to drive i hear a large clunk in the transmission.. i feel like it happens when i park after a turn or something like that because pulling out of my garage it never happens but out of my spot at work it almost always happens, any insight? should i worry? its a 2010 lariat with less than 2000 miles on it, i just got it in september. thanks a lot

I hear the same thing. Only way I know to prevent it is to turn on my truck and wait a minute or so to let it warm up.

Parking on an incline at work without using the parking brake correctly?

...Or pulled ahead against a curb? If you pull forward against a curb stop (like at front of parking stall), and put in park, there will be a ton of pressure on the transmission as it is sitting with the curb pushing back on the truck....
