Sam, I can't add too much here other than I have heard that sometimes when you change tranny oil after its been in there a long while It will slip worse because the cluch grit which has worn off the disks gets flushed away.

And your 100,000 mile truck is?

Year? Transmission?

What is a silnode?

Rather than playing 20 questions ...

HINT/TIP: Put your vehicle information (year, model, cab, trim, engine, wheelbase, _x4 drive, mileage, modifications, etc., etc.) in your signature -OR- provide it in your posting(s).
