Default Transmission Fluid Leaking

Truck has been sitting for a couple of days and now it’s leaking transmission fluid and there’s a smaller leak right before the muffler. Anybody help on what’s causing this

Maybe get a can if foamy engine degreaser, local car wash, etc, and clean entire area very good. Then try to isolate, pin-point exactly where the leak is.

Dillon David ...

Hose it off with a couple cans of brake clean and then run it and watch it see if you see fluid coming out, or take it for a drive and see

I suspect this is Davids issue also.
(Plug is on the upper (note: passenger side) & thats where the oil residue is most forward from)
(How mine looked also)

If just dropping the pan then much less of course.

Dipstick cap, wrench (mine was size 18mm, some note theirs are 19mm)
Transmission bolt socket size 8mm

There is a few write ups of dropping the pan including one I did on here and from the color of that fluid it almost looks like motor oil so you'd benefit from it for sure. The whole job takes an hour or so and it's fairly easy as long as you have the right tools and stuff ready to go. Assuming this is a 12th gen I'd check to see about if your transmission is under recall due to leadframe failure since you're going to be in there anyways. As for the exhaust that looks like moisture from a small exhaust leak from that clamp.
