Default Transmission flash

I'm considering making an appointment to get the transmission on my 2010 flashed to whatever the most current is. I'm getting a shudder decellerating through 40-35mph (no throttle, problem is absent if shifted into neutral) and also notice on accelerating in 2nd gear. Lots of reading later, and some people have had this corrected with an updated flash. Now I have 5 star tunes loaded. I would obviously return tune to stock before taking it in, but would I then need to have the tune rewritten after the flash? Wasn't sure if they base the tune off what's in the truck currently or if it's completely new...?

I have max tow package with three leefs in the rear and supercrew with 6.5ft bed with factory 20" wheels, no lift or level, all stock. I know the frame tends to judder pretty bad on uneven pavement and over expansion joints on the highway due to the long wheelbase and long leaf springs. My 2012 in the same configuration minus max tow and 18" tires did not exhibit these problems so maybe it's just the way it is?

I just had mine in for a PCM reflash as part of the OSS transmisson recall and now I can't load any tunes from my Livewire. I am assuming the strategy has changed or something like that. I am going to call SCT first thing Monday.

Its been my view that something has worked well for a number of years all of a sudden needs a flash that aint going to fix a mechanical problem, cover it up for a short time yes maybe.A flash needed within a short time of being new is perfectly normal but 2+ years and a problem crops up I throw the flag good luck
