Default Transmission/diff shutter?

Hey folks, I have an issue that looks like it only happened to the multi piece drive shaft, but Im having it on my 2013 5.0 STX.

I get a slight rumble from 25mph to stop. Also, I can feel a slight bump when accelerating from a stop. Anyone know if this is an issue common on the 13's? And should I worry about it breaking anything? I dont mind it too much, but hoping it doesn't lead to bigger issues.

No I wouldn't call that normal, my truck doesn't do it and if it did I would be underneath looking at the carrier bearing mount, trans mount etc for loose bolts and depending on if something is broken, to the dealer it will go for warranty repair.

Since you're concerned, SargeF150, I recommend making an appointment at your dealership so they can diagnose. Keep us posted on your findings. How many miles are on the truck?

SargeF150, my '11 XLT did the same thing. I brought it to dealer and was told by my salesman buddy that it is happening on the newer models as well. Service dept. told me the Ford issued a Service Bulletin around June 2013 to swap out the multi piece yoke to a single piece. I just had mine swapped last Tuesday.
