Default transfer case front output seal leak????

my F150 developed a small leak over the last few weeks which looks like its coming from the front output shaft of the transfer case, I cant find anything online about the front shaft seal, tons of info for the rear-driveline one. Has anyone done one of those? and do I have to split the cases to get to it?
any info will be appreciated, the truck is a 2011 f150 4x4

Well for anyone that is curious, front output seal is a little labor intensive, to switch it out you have to disassemble the transfer case. Transmission shop quoted me $650.00

I also noticed black grease on my transfer case, I'm pretty sure it's from the front seal. What did you end up doing?
