Trailer sway control
I couldn't possible say enough about it. I pulled a 22ft enclosed trailer from Dothan, Al to Lake Wales, Fl today. In case you haven't heard, but we have the remnents of TS Lee blowing through the area. Trailer was empty, which just makes it worse, was able to put a few things up front to help, but they didn't total 200lbs. Ran I10 heading east with nasty crosswinds, and then I75 with a strong crossing/headwind. Fuel mileage suffered, around 10.2mpg Heading up I got 11.0 at 70mph and 11.5 running 65mph with a small load (trailer was full of furniture, not sure on weight but probably not much more than 5-6k lbs.) Had to pay attention, but nothing like a trck without sway control. At one point it activated hard enough it threw us forward in our seats some. Oddly the faster I went (to a point) the better it pulled.
I've heard it only activates under extreme conditions. Guess you got that!
