I've been towing for 2 1/2 years with no problems, until I hooked up to a friends trailer, and my information center alerted me to a trailer wiring fault, and I had no running lights.

I have trailer brakes, turn signals, but no running lights now.

So I popped open the underhood fuse box, and the fuse feeding the relay was blown, so I replaced it, and still no running lights, even on my own good trailer.

So I pulled the relay, and the coil seems to measure OK, but I really know no way to test the relay for function.

Do you suppose I need to completely unhook the battery, and 'reset' the system and the lighting control module ?
