I was looking online for some type of trailer hitch cover for my 2014 F-150 KR. There was a variety of different ones (metal, large, small, illuminated) and such but I found one that seemed to be just right.
I didn't want a big 'announcement' cap - just something to cover the hole and was simple in its usefulness.
The one I chose (pic attached) is an OEM Ford cap that's made out of a rubber material with a raised Ford logo. I painted the FORD in white to add a distinctive touch.
Just wondering what other type of trailer hitch caps that F-150 owners have and why did you choose what you did.
Be careful going through the car wash with the OEM rubber hitch cover. More than a few times it has come off, but now I have installed a chain so if it comes out, I don't loose it. The chain has deterred theft also. My first one on my 02 SuperCrew was stolen in a parking lot.
truck came with a oval shaped cap that had the dealer logo on it. Tossed it aside and inserted a hitch step from the previous truck. No dealer anything in this truck.

I put a b&w flip under hitch and a keyed hitch pin made by bolt (keys to my ignition key). This way I can leave my hitch in all the time, don't have to worry about getting shinned and I don't need a cap.
