I didn't have a tow package on mine but after going through my truck found what looks like all the necessary wires for the OEM TBC, under the dash and above the spare tire

there's also a yellow wire under that blue one, this is the side thats coming from the engine area, then from there it has a pig tail that goes to the basic flat 4 plug

These are all this wires I would need right?

Yes. If you have the blue wire you have the correct wiring.

In the pictures you can see the miles accumulated on the trailer and the ITBC output to the trailer brakes.

Also, it says "Push OK for options", and when you do that you can set up a trailer, select a different trailer, rename it, delete it, etc.
.
I have this display too, but didn't come with the brake controller. I thought it was odd that it would have all the programming and still not include the controller.

I see turn right, turn left, stop, running lights, but not sure what other wires do but not seeing either 12 volt or brakes. I might be wrong but I think your missing a wire?

Blue is for brakes, orange is for 12v. Here is some great info in this thread:

My Ford Genuine has never let me down. Installation is super easy. Just plug it in and go. Suitable For Gas or Diesel Engines. Being proportional and inertial, once it is adjusted to the way you like, you'll never have to touch it again.

I am also in the process of doing this to mine, I ordered the controller from a Ford dealer and installed it, the wire harness was taped under the driver side dash as previously mentioned.

Will be installing the 7 way plug tomorrow, as I need it to pull a trailer this weekend, and then make the appointment to have it turned on by the local dealer.
