It wasn't just the suede steering wheel on the Boss, but that had a lot to do with it haha. I love the ecoboost, love the utility - but at 25, I need to make some bad decisions and get it out of my system. A school bus yellow boss may just do the trick. I can't point the change of heart to any one thing necessarily, however I am at a point in my life that doesn't coincide too well with a big cushy truck.

I don't know what i'm more jealous about, being 25 again or having the stones to do it.
I say do it and don't look back.
If this is the worse thing you do you're doing pretty good

When I was your age I was driving a 1968 Roadrunner 383 with a 4 speed. Bought it brand new when I returned home from Vietnam. No regrets. Ever. I have really liked the new Boss 302's since they came back. Now IS the time to get one because the new Mustang will not have the retro look. Someday when you are old and wise, you will hopefully still have the Boss and maybe a Ford Atlas F150 to tow the Boss to car shows. And about the financial hit, you are young enough to recover from it. Enjoy your youth!

Haha. I actually went from a 2012 boss to my 2012 f150 5.0. The boss is a blast to drive. Ended up having a kid and the suoercrew just made more sense. And saved me about 200 a month.

You better believe it. Brand new it cost me $2900. That was a post car and no carpet on the interior. Here's what I do have: California personalized plates that read "68 RDRR" and looking for a Roadrunner to put them on. Hard to find a nice one though, and especially a 4-speed car. I keep looking and in the meantime I drive my Coyote.

GT500, is just old muscle car, i really mean old muscle, just tried to cram as much HP as possible in it, and not a great steering car, suspensions and shocks are meh. Going straight is fine.

Boss is a very good choice if going the mustang route.

You must not have ever driven one and just making an assumption. that gt500 will carve some corners and blast down the straights better than 90% of the cars out there.
