I'd have to get the police push bar if I ever got a Taurus SHO.

Congrats on the sweet ride.

I thought about getting one for the wife, she just about has her SUV paid off. Thanks.
Not that I'm aware of, I've been on the various SHO and ecoboost performance forums and haven't read anything about the SHO's having F150 type symptoms with the EB.

No, it's a Lotus Esprit that runs on batteries, and does it faster. It requires charging for 8 hours to drive for forty minutes, 20 if you really push the skinny pedal, and it costs almost six figures, so there's nothing economical or tree hugger about that car.

Anything that rockets to 60 in under 4 seconds is poetry bad ****. Have you seen the torque curve on these? It's a straight line!

I'm not sure of all of your circumstances, but wouldn't it have been wiser to trade in the older truck? I got nothing against the car, it looks pretty good. And as much as I love my truck, I too would consider getting a regular old car for my daily drive to work car. But at the moment the fuel economy thing doesn't bother me.

Nah... The '06 is a work truck, it's beat up, not the cleanest and definitely would not have gotten $32k as a trade in.

I actually like the SHO's and at least with the powdercoated rims it hides the "flower power" The regular sho rim's have to be some of the worst out there....I don't have a clue what they were thinking....

I also like the SHO's, I just wish I was driving a 2014 Fusion ST. If only Ford would build such a car.

I agree, the "flower power" wheels look much better all black.

If it were a Prius, that would require immediate mancard forfeiture, with no chance for reinstatement!

You should look into a SHO stripe of some sort. All that white needs a little break. Nice car though!
