Default Tpms relearn help?

Hey guys, just picked up a factory set of wheels and tires for my truck. To no surprise the tmps light came on when I swapped sets. I tried the re learn process by hitting the 4 way light button 3 times. It went into relearn but when I let air out of the tire nothing happened. Any ideas ? It's a 2013 f150 xlt

you need the TPMS activation tool. It’s like $20-30 on Amazon

I think that only works for tire rotations of existing sensors. I tried the tire deflate method about 10x with new sensors and it never worked. I got the tool and success ensued. I’m not knocking you pal, it’s worth a try. I’m just adding my experience with this specific issue. Cheers!

I learned this with new aftermarket sensors. No worries, was just being helpful.

I followed the relearn procedure outlined in the owners manual when I replaced my oem wheels with aftermarket wheels/tpms sensors and it worked like it's supposed to. No extra tools required.
