Default Tpms question

I have a 10 fx4 with the 20" wheels, can someone tell me if the tpms are on a band in the wheel or in with the vavle stems. Thanks

what determines if you have the bands around the rim, or the valve stem sensor?

what would be on my factory 2010 XLT 17"s?

you have them in the valves, even on the factory 17's. i think the Edge and a few other Ford's have the bands, which suck if you buy a complete wheel/tire swap. those things can get expensive when you factor in new sensors AND bands. i hope Ford will do away with them and only use the valves from now on, but we'll see...

I know for the F150's that 2009 and newer all use the valve/sensor type.
