Default Tpms ???

Hi everyone !

Just want to know if TPMS sensors have any influence on any other sensors or drive assist systems on my FX4 ??? Need some winter tire & rims ... Just want to know if it's worth the extra $$$ for the sensors ??

Thanks !

The system does not effect driveability at all.........just have to ask yourself if the idiot light being on is gonna bother ya?!?!?
FYI I found 4 new sensors with 4 new valves for $158 shipped.

If you don't mind seeing the light on and it in the display...then dont get them. I put a set of rims on my truck and I'm considering getting the senors taken off the old ones and put on the new rims...it's very annoying

Check Ebay. I recently saw a set of "original factory TPMS" new in box for $99 shipping included. Seems like there were several for sale from different sources. Not sure if they are actually OEM or not, but might be worthwhile to check it out. I'm looking for wheels for winter tires, if I find the wheels, then I'll start looking for TPMS components. no need for me to get the cart in front of the horse.....

If you've thought of getting a tuner now might be a good time, on my bullydog I disabled them for my new rims and tires. That's half the price of the tuner right there.

I was on my phone when I posted that, and I couldn't see your sig. The bullydog is for the ecoboost, but 5 star offers tuning for the 5.0, much better tuning to boot. I'd ask him if he can disable them, given that a canned tuner can, I'm sure a custom tune definetely can.
