Towing Capacity
I have a 2016 F150 4x4 Supercrew 145" wheel base with a 5.0L V8 FFV Engine Elec 6 speed auto w/tow mod including the trailer tow package, FX4 off-road pkg, 3.55 elec lock rr axle. I can't get a straight answer from my dealer of even the manuals. Can anybody give me a fairly good answer to how much weight it can tow as well as the max tongue weight?
Read the towing section of the forum, https://www.f150forum.com/f82, AFTER finding the payload sticker on your door jamb.
For max tongue weight, lay down and read the label on your hitch. It's 500 without a weight distributing hitch.

I have a 14 with almost identical options. I'm rated at 7700 lbs. The 16's are a little lighter and the 5.0 has a little more HP so you should be able to tow slightly more. But it is payload that is the real limit. Mine is rated for 1621 lbs. Realistically about 5000 is all I'd want to tow. That would mean about 650 lbs on the tongue and leave less than 1000 in the truck for passengers and cargo.
