Saw some good deals on tow mirrors on eBay, what do I need to look for as far as just bolting on, I have heated and power folds now on my KR. Are all these the same when they say they have power and heat? Thanks

 

from the ones i looked at when i bought mine the power is the power adjust. the only ones i saw that were power fold is the ones from ford.

 

I found these on eBay but they're not power fold or extend. They are power, signal and puddle lamp for sure, maybe heated. Depending on what you buy, it should be plug and play. I know the power extend and fold are WAAAAAAAAAAY more expensive than these so in an effort to save some coin, it may be beneficial to go with these. They look great on my truck. I didn't have puddle lamps on my stockers but when I plugged these in, I guess my truck was already wired for them so I gained a feature!

As for the install, it's pretty simple. You have to remove the door panel. There are 2 little bolts on the bottom, on in the coin holder, and one behind the door handle. You'll need some special tools to remove the covers. The mirror is held on by 3 nuts. The hardest part about the install is getting the door panel back on right. Make sure you pay attention to the door lock as getting it back in it's hole along with all the other hooks as this can be tricky.
