Default Touchscreen

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place. Sorry if I am not. I am trying to calibrate f150 touch-screen but nothing that I have tried works. It is so out of whack that you have to press way above the button you are trying to press . I tried to use the navigation button to calibrate it but was unable to click on it. If I go into the diagnostic screen and try to press anything it clicks on the wrong thing and then the back button doesn't work. Please help. I am very frustrated

Unhook your battery for 15 minutes. This sounds like a Sync3 screen, is that correct?

I had a Sync 2/MFT screen that was way out of calibration. I had to figure out where the touch presses would register and press the “wrong” area to access the calibration menu, if that makes sense. If memory serves correctly, if I tapped the lower right area, the upper left menu option would be selected, etc. I eventually figured out what area of the screen my taps would activate and was then able to access the calibration menu and correctly calibrate it.

I notice that my touchscreen seems to "drift" like it needs calibrated every few years. I remember there being a reset button buried in the sync settings that return everything to the factory state. It sucks that you have to reprogram everything to your liking again, so I don't do it until mine drifts to the point it gets frustrating, but this always seems to work in the past for me.

Hopefully yours isn't so bad that you can't even access the correct menus...
