I bought the Lexerd from Amazon and find it to be blurry and the screen has lost what crispness it had. Need to find another brand

He has the same issue I wrote on a could weeks ago where the matte finish wears off on the navigation screen where you tap most often. I have 4-5 worn areas.. Is there any way to remove the rest of matte finish, or has anyone tried a matte finish screen protector in hopes it would hide the blemishes?

Mine looks aweful.. Any ideas greatly appreciated..
Ok I've been looking at my nasty Sony nav screen forever (2011 f150)with the wear marks so I decided to brave it and try getting rid of matte look on screen. I used blue coral headlight lens restorer on it with microfiber towel and yes I know it has dreaded ammonia in it but guess what... Screen is perfectly smooth and after 3 months hot and cold it's still crystal clear. First post long time reader just wanted to help out

I have a 2012 with Navigation. It had a film type substance all over the screen and nothing I found would touch it. So I have some Diamondite for use on headlights and it worked great. I did not use the initial aggressive prep but just stage 2 and 3. The results were fantastic. The kit comes with everything that you need. I did not use the polishing wheels just had pressure with the microfiber cloths.

You probably have not had this problem yet or you would know what we are talking about. It's wear marks on matte finish on the screen

I put a screen protector on mine from day one. Sounds like that was a good call.

Something else you can do (and something I did when I had a Jeep)...... I bought an HD screen protector meant for an iPad and cut it down to the size of the screen and put it on. The clarity was actually better and it cut down on glare.

Edit..... Just read back a few pages and saw that others have done the same thing. The Zagg Invisishield is what I had, the HD version.
