Torque app for iPod
I'm not real tech savvy, so I was wondering what I need to use the Torque app in my truck on my iPod touch. Also looking at mount ideas. Thanks in advance.

Torque app is only for Android, not Apple. Apple has a few apps but none are anywhere near as good as Torque unfortunately. The other problem is that Apple requires a wifi interface as opposed to bluetooth and even the cheapest of those adapters is $100+ dollars.
The two apps you can look at are DashCommand and Rev but both are also extremely pricey as well. The full version of DashCommand is $50 bucks and again is nowhere near as good as Torque, to me anyway.
To get it to work on my iPhone, I spent $125 on the wifi and $50 on the adapter and wasn't impressed at all. For my Android phone, $25 on a good bluetooth adapter and $5 for the app. Money well spent for me.

If I were you, search these forums. I recall seeing one were a guy took his iPod touch and mounted it in the small phone holder on the left side of the Nav. Hardwired it in to his USB 2 and then used Bluetooth to use his gushes app. It was a new iPod so he could sync over wifi. Let me see if I can find the thread...
