Default Top Secret Dome Light Cover Removal

Am trying ti install my new LED for the Dome light in my 2011 Screw. I cannot find one instruction that is clear about how to remove the cover. I've seen PULL, TUG, etc., but I don't want to break it.

If anyone knows how you are supposed to remove the dome cover correctly please help. Thanks.

Went out and didn't care if I broke it. Grabbed front lip of cover (side facing front of truck) put my finger on left side of lip and pulled down on lip. It flew off and scared the crap out of me. Also got a charlie horse at same time. Replaced LED. Did not work. Pulled it out, turned it 180 degrees and it works. It works one way only.

As for the map lights, to remove cover....... Open sunglass tray. Grab top lip of map light cover on inside (towards sunglass tray, do this on both sides at one time) Pull down on lips at same time. They start to come out, then keep pulling entire cover down and towards rear of teuck.

Thats how I got them, off. As for putting them back on the dome just pressed right on. The maps too.

The investment in a set of trim removal tools will pay for themselves in no time - trust me (mine is a pro set - $25.00, but they can be found on fleaBay for as little as $10
