My dad keeps his little Cobra CB up there, but I see that as an invitation to theft. Personally I use it to keep a box of kleenex from dancing all over my cab.

I made the mistake of putting some mail I collected from my box as I was in transit back to work from lunch break

Answer: His light bar as stated in his post. (mjb is most likely firefighter...and those are his emergency blue lights, I would think. - you firefighters are awesome & we rely on you more than you think! ...we're running AWAY from the fire & YOU'RE running into it!)
Though I do like the idea, I highly agree with Rnlcomp ... I've also had a few thing set up there including outgoing mail and is quite a distraction reflecting back up against the windshield really hindering visibility, so I just leave it as is.

I got the tray with the idea to make the spot more useful. I actually never put anything in there...ever.
