The sticker is $24875 minus about 8% ($1990) gets you to $22885. Now deduct any rebates or incentives you qualify for. That would be a fair price. Go to Ford.com to find out rebates you are eligible for.

I don't think it's too good to be true at all. I bought my first truck last weekend. 2010 Lariat Supercrew, 5.4L, 3.55 limited slip, Nav, Sony sound, heated and cooled captains seats with memory, rear view camera, tailgate step, moonroof, Sync, 20" wheels, even premium White Platinum paint job. List price, about 45K, bought new from a local dealer for 31,400.
Some of the factors in the price: it's a 2010, it was the end of the month, it was one of their oldest (longest on the lot) vehicles, there were several Texas truck month incentives, I traded a car, I financed with Ford (at 1.9%!), and my wife works for the dealer, so we got it on D plan. You might think that last bit is the real reason for the great deal, but the 31,400 was advertised on their website. I just called and asked my wife if it was for real, and it was, so I went for it! Two days later, there were no deals on their website anywhere close to what I got, so I think I really got lucky.
I don't know the reasons for the deal you saw, but it's certainly worth looking into - you might get lucky too!

I don't know if I'm missing something, but there doesn't seem to be any rebates listed for the XL trim level on Ford's site

I did better than that on my deal. I'd say there is still room to negotiate. Too bad they already know about your $3k PCO, that hurts your negotiating power.
