Default Tonneau Cover

I just purchased a 2011 F150 XLT, and we need to get a Tonneau Cover for it. Any recommendations??

Nice looking truck!

I'm still looking for a tonneau cover as well. Several have been discussed here to include folders like the Extang, Bak Flip, Rugged Liner and a few others. Some have gotten the solid tops with gas assist from Lear, Snugtop and ARE; others prefer the retractable roll-ups etc.. I would recommend doing a search and then ask any specific questions you may have, lots of knowledge here on pretty much all covers.

Good luck. Lots of information on here. I ended up buying a Bakflip G2 as I like the low profile. Works great for me.

You should probably start with a list of your needs. Then, add the $5 actuator to it so the tailgate locks your contents every time you use the key fob.

I have a Lund Tuxedo roll-up cover on mine!! Really like it & it seems to keep most everything dry.. I got it locally for just under $275.. Installed in just 30 min with just a 7/16" ratchet.. My dad liked it so much he got one for his 2002 F-150..

Pic attached..

there are many different kinds, all depends on why you want one. looks, security, just keep stuff dry, easy on/off, easy open. I have a soft roll up truxedo, works great and keeps stuff dry and lets me use 100% of my bed when i need to haul something, but not very secure as its easily cut. there are nice hard covers like the extang and backflip with varying pros/cons and nice roll up covers also with varying pros and cons. What are you looking for from one and we can help you narrow down the options. Price can vary greatly, the better the cover the more you will pay.

I just put the Extang solid fold on my 11 F150 Super Crew. It was easy to install and seems to be very durable. My dad had one on his truck and sent me the link below on the install. http://youtu.be/g1E_iiw0qwQ It's all about preference and what you are looking for. This one was a little pricey at $737.00, but works and looks great.

fyi, just found a seller on ebay offering the Bakflip F1 for $745 w/free shipping. Best price I have personally seen on these.

I've got an Undercover SE on order. Should be having installed in a week or so.

It is light enough that my wife and I can remove it in less than 5 mins, yet it's strong enough that we could literally dance around on top of it if we wanted to. Completely waterproof, and secure. Best of all, I've seen their work and they can make the paint match beautifully.

Lots of pics and stuff here: http://undercoverinfo.com/new_ses.php

PS... I probably sound like a commercial, but I don't work for them in any way. I'm just extremely impressed with their product.

I love the Extang soft roll ups. Had an express on my 250 and loved it. Then got a Revolution for my 150. The Revolution is low pro, I love it
