Well, I am in the market for a new truck. I'm looking for a super crew fx4 with black leather interior but not the appearance package. Oh also with the eco boost motor in it. Not after searching my 4 local dealers not one of them even had an fx4 on the lots. I contacted a dealers thats about 2 hours from me about said truck as well. They told me that they would at least look for me and called me later tonight.

What they said shocked me. They said right now there isn't such a combo in silver (which is the color) I'm leaning towards for sale in the country right now. WTF! Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

I'n my area I do see way more raptors then FX4's lol but this just seems strange to me. Also If you have a 11+ FX4 with a lifter kit and maybe some wheels and tires post up some pics fore me.

Just order one and avoid the dealers' 'I looked everywhere' games. You're in between production years right now. Not a lot of 2011 stock to really give you much choice (unless you're big city shopping), and many dealers haven't gotten in their full allotment of 2012's.

Takes 6-8 weeks, gets you the truck you exactly want, and gives you time to save a bit more for the deposit. If they don't want to deal, walk away.

I bought my '11 black navi screw eco platinum last week and had to look all over the state to find it. The dealers were really NO help. Usaa buying service is the bomb. Mine was less than 41k. 43k out the door in VA with tax etc.

 

Check out Brandon Ford in Brandon, Fl (right outside of Tampa). Also check out Mullinax Ford in Lake Park Fl. These have the largest inventory in the area. I found my FX2 at Sarasota Ford.
