guys i just bought a new XL with the steel wheels, can anyone tell me if i can fit 285/70/17's on there? i dont know if the steel wheels are different than the alumnum ones. if i can fit those can you tell me if i can fit chains on with that size, and if not can you tell me what is the biggest tire i can get and fit some chains?

Those tires should fit fine. When you buy chains, you have to specify your tire size and they'll give you the right set. if you buy them for the stock 245/70 R17 there is no way they will fit 285/70 R17s later.

 

yeah i was going to buy them for that size i was just worried if there was enough room for that size tire and chain.

 

does anyone else know for sure if i can fit 33's on these wheels?
