Do you guys use salt on the roads in the winter, any concern about rust after cutting the metal?

Just re-read and seen you primed it....

Yup, it's still a concern of mine, when I put my winter wheels on I will look at it again and possibly clean it up, paint it correctly and clear coat it. Since you can barely see it, I'm not worried about perfection, just about rust prevention.

Do you have pics of your truck? I have the 2012 FX4 Screw so it should be about the same. I want to give my truck a more aggressive look with some new rims and rubber and maybe a leveling kit. But I don't want to lift it. And I'm not interested in cutting. So no rubbing or cutting in your setup is great.

Default 295-70/18 on stock 18's

I believe I can fit these on the stock 18x9s with a small front end lift. Is the AS 1.5 enough and will it leave a slight forward rake?

Thanks.

It sounds like my setup is what your looking for too. Level, larger tire, stock rims however, no cutting. I've posted pics in a couple threads, I also have a build thread
