Tire and Wheel Fitment Guide - 2009 and newer
#4631
Finally got the damn tires!
Very happy with them!
, the tread actually measures pretty much the same as the 285/70r17's (9")
But they are almost one inch taller (33.5") mounted on the truck they mesure 32" the 285's mounted mesure 31".
They ride better then my stock tires did, the fact that they are D rated and 55.1lbs helps a lot. They have a load rating of 3085 or something like that

I'll post some up for you, If you're really into wide tires these will not be for you. They work perfect for my needs though and the kind of 4x4'n I do I prefer a little bit of a narrower tire. The best part about these is I gained 2" of total tire height and I feel no loss of off the line power, even while running stock tune, and with my 91 perf tune the tires still light up going into 2nd gear
And I have absolutely no rubbing, which is a big pet peeve for me, I got her flexing pretty good last night and none, I use my truck very often as a truck and didn't want to have to Jerry rig it so tires wouldn't rub.

Hard to tell yet, only got about 50 miles on them, my mpg on my dash hasn't dropped at all though so far. I've got a couple long drives this week for work I'll update after. This may totally be in my head but truck actually feels quicker, crazy

I don't have a picture and can take one if someone wants, but I have 285/75R18 Trail Grapplers on my 2011 Screw 4wd, 5100's on the first from highest setting. I did have to neuter a little bit of the front valence, but you can't tell really.
No rubbing, I've taken it off through my lease quite a few times and haul stuff regularly. Love the tires/look so far (I hate the wide tire look)
EDIT: It's hard to tell what my mileage difference is, as I already had 33" BFG AT's before and happened to move from the suburbs to the city within the same period as changing tires. I am at 13ish MPG right now but its a TON of b2b traffic. I also have a tuner from 5star and k&n.

I thought I posted this before but I guess I didnt.
I was going to get Ultra Gauntlet 18x9s and put either Duratrac or KO2s in a 275/70R18s.
Someone told me that the tires only take a 7-8.5" wheel and that I should get the Ultra Crushers or the tires will look horrible.
Anyone know what he means/why?
Also, does anyone have Nitto Trail Grapplers on an 18x9 or 18x8.5?
