Default Tire n wheel choices make my brain hurt

Anyone running a 285/70R18 or something close? Can't make up my mind on what I wanna go with. I got a 2010 f150 xlt 4x4 I've got a 2.5" front level kit I'm going to put on. As far as a wheel im going to go with the Moto metal 970 18x10 with either a -12 or -24 offset (leaning toward the -24). And for tire I'm going with BFG all terrain ko2 . If anyone has any imput it would be greatly appreciated!👍👍

Hey brother if you got the cash to lay down thats the perfect tire size the offset is super wide though... its more harsh on your components the wider the offset wouldnt go any wider than the-12

Right on man, ya I'm trying not to empty my pockets but I got some money to spend. I was originally looking into a 305x65 R18 but them are quite pricy n probley more tire than I need. Haven't priced the 285's yet but I imagine they gotta be cheaper then the 305's ha. N ya I don't wanna start putting to much stress on components! I do want my tires to stick out from the fenders some.Just not much more then an inch, I just like the way it looks. But even with -12 I would think they should stick out some? Factory offset is 44 if I'm not mistaken.

I have 275/70/r18 on 18x9 with 0 offset on ko2's and here is a pic that should help you figure out how much will stick out. Yours won't be much more being 12mm extra from mine. Hope this helps. Oh and I have a 2" leveling kit on the front and 2" blocks in the rear.

Looks good man! So with the -12 offset and a 285 tire and 10" wide wheel how much farther do you think I'll be out compaired to yours? 12mm is .472 so pretty much a 1/2" n with being a 10" wide wheel compaired to your 9" that won't make it necessarily stick out an 1 1/2 more will it?

Split the difference on the rim and being a 10 instead of 9 means it will square out a little since mine balloon out past the rim I would think. It's not going to be much more than mine. I would guess less than an inch for sure but I'm no expert my any means. I thought with everybodies input and math mine would have stuck out more than they ended up being so you should be exactly where you were wanting to be. Good luck. Oh and I have plenty of clearance in the wheel well plus a large distance away from my UCA.

I think that's been done before...if you have a 4x4 and use the stock wheels. May have some minor trimming. My 275x60's fit easily at stock height but they are 33x11 instead of 34x11.
