Default Tire size for 2-4 drop

I just purchased a McGaughys 2-4 economy drop kit for my 2010 RCSB.I was wondering if there was any way to run my 17" wheels with out looking goofy as hell.I know I will have to get different tires as mine are 30".I was thinking about a 255/50/17 but don't know how much gap that would leave. All opinions welcome!!

That would be smaller (27" tire) You'd need a 275 70 R17 to hit 32.2", this is a factory diameter that will run with no problems for clearance or speedo issues. Mine are 285 45 R22 which converts to 32.1" and I am running a Belltech 2/4. On a screw though.

In that case OP, stick with the original size tire (31.1") the size you mentioned would be 3" smaller than original.
