I still need to get it aligned that wouldn't make much of a difference would it? It was stock last weekend when I got it... has leveling kit with 35s. So it had the grandpa tires on it to begin with

You change the parts or geometry of your suspension at all and you should get it aligned. Even if it's just a minor adjustment that needs to be done, that still means it'll cost you tire life.

Would it make a difference on the tire being close to the shock tower/a arm? Like once I get it aligned would their be more room between the two?

That's going to depend on what needs to be adjusted to correct the alignment.
