Default Tire pressure question

Hey everyone, I just got a set of General Grabber AT2's put on my 2013 F150 FX4. They were the 33X12.50R20's put on my stock 20" sport rims. They fit real good with no rubbing issues.

They are about an inch taller than the Pirelli's I had on before. The General tires recommend an 8 1/2 to 11" rim and I believe the stock 20's are 7" wide.

What tire pressure would you guys recommend for these tires to keep from wearing out the center of the treads? since they are mounted on a little narrower rim than is recommended.

I like the tires so far. Just slightly more noise but they ride and feel better than the Pirelli's.

I didn't get a chance to ask the tire shop this question.

There really is no way to completely avoid wearing out the center's before the edges when running a tire on a wheel narrower than specified, it is what it is. I am assuming they are 10 plys correct? I would just run them at whatever the door jam specifies, just not more than 45psi as they will ride like crap. If you underinflate them to try and account for the center's you may end up with worst issues.

Your stock rims are 8.5 wide and I think you will run about 33 front and 31 rear.Only way to tell for sure( each vehicle is different)air your tires up and wet your treads down and roll forward . Let the air out until you get full tread contact .

Have run a lot of different tires and have found right around 32lbs. Always get well past the mileage for the tire.
