I like how it looks. Having said that, automotive lighting is one thing where function and performance should take top priority over looks. Sacrificing performance and/or function for looks, however slight, is never a good idea.

They look brighter than half of the vehicles on the road, without tint.

My recons came tinted, and I can promise you they light up the world. It doesn't take much to tint a colored lens, and it certainly doesn't diminish their visibility.

Since you asked, I think it's the dumbest mod anybody has ever come up with. Purposefully making a safety device unable to do it's job properly? Really? Are you going to stick nails in your tires next?

I'm all about modding. And tinting windows, etc. is a different ballgame. But c'mon man... don't tint your tail lights. I hate being behind people who do that crap.

And, typically it's very illegal also.

Thanks bud. I think the visibility loss of your brake lights is minimal and it looks awesome. I will read up on it some more. Don't let the jealous children spoil your efforts. Half of the posters on here are still suckling on a tit anyhow.
