This. I've done this on both my vehicles in the last two months. Dont know why I waited so long.

How much did that run you fellas? Supposedly that is exactly what the installer wanted to do but I held off.... He said it's a 50 percent and has blue or something in it that reduces a lot of heat. He said it was 100.

I think I paid around there so it's not a bad price. It's a pain in the butt to do the entire windshield. Let them have some space but check it over real well. Trust me, you'll be staring at it the whole time you're driving if there is something wrong with it.

I believe it's actually 70% or 80%, got a slight blue hue to it like the BMWs windshields, etc. It's not blue to the point where it looks weird. I used to tint my windshields with 35% or 50%. My Mustang had 35% on the front windshield and I got hassled about it so that's why I went with Llumar Air Blue this time and I don't regret it. It drops temperatures significantly and when you have a windshield this big it really helps. Not to mention it will help protect the interior from UV damage.

Holy crap! You put 5% over the factory 20% on the rear?! That amounts to 1% visible light transmission! Can you even see out of them at night? You should've just painted your windows black!

Well I went to go get a haircut and noticed that the passenger side front window has nasty scratches all over it... I looked at other windows and can't seem to see any. Called installer and he is telling me to wait because it still needs to cure. I told him I guarantee its scratches and he said to bring it in and he'd take care of it. Hope to god it's not the glass that's scratched, I don't think that's possible.

Doubtful it's the glass scratched. Possibly just didn't lubricate the tint enough before he tried to remove the air bubbles.

Looks awesome man. It get hot as hell here in S. LA and I've had all my vehicles blacked out 5% in the past. I'll be doing the same as soon as I get mine. Windshield tint is my favorite though.

Tints look like crap for at least 3 days. Foggy and looks scratched like you described. I'd let it sit for a while then decide.

Idk man... I know what marks you're talking about and these are definitely scratches.

Here's an inside pic... Tried to get the rear, front, and stock windshield... I really don't think the 5 percent is that dark. We'll see tonight.
