Default Tie rod ends

What’s the consensus on replacements… stick with Motorcraft or is Moog good cause I’ve been hearing they have dropped off in quality, actually read something about even replacement Motorcraft parts aren’t of same quality as what was put on at factory. Simple enough repair job just like to do it and forget about for awhile. Any other brands you guys recommend? Let me know, thanks 👋

I installed the MOOG ES800515/ES800514 tie rods this summer. No issues. I was getting a popping noise at full turn low speed (parking the truck). This fixed it. The MOOG's were 1/3 of the price at the time and wanted to start switching over to grease fitting parts.

There's a Ford tech Makuloco video, I followed some of it, the jam nut and spinning the old outer tie rods off the inner tie rods was nowhere as easy as he states, I almost gave up. My pipe wrench was a life saver on that one. If I was doing it again, I would have wire brushed every seem really well and soaked it down with liquid wrench for a few days before hand.

Thank you. I ordered those yesterday from Rock Auto just under a $100 with tax and shipping should be here Wednesday hopefully. I’m in Arizona so my stuff should come apart easier 🤞
