Default thumb drive

do you have to do something special to get the flash drive to work? i plugged one into the usb port on the way to work this morning and it didnt work.

U have to format the drive to FAT32 on the comp. i had the sane problem

x2 on the FAT32. On my Mac, I think I had to go through the thumb drive and delete some hidden files that made SYNC barf. Stuff with ._ at the beginning. In other words, anything that wasn’t a plain folder or filename for your MP3 collection – or in my case .m4a
