Default Threshold guard for Super Crew back doors….

Since Ford didn’t bother putting on the black plastic threshold guards on the back doors like they did on the front doors I’d like to add them.

I just don’t want the paint getting all scratched up and looking like heck.

I think if I could get a set of the ones for the front I could put them on. I might have to trim them a bit shorter to fit but they would match the front ones.

Has anyone done this?

Does anyone happen to have the part number for them if they did?

Or any other ideas?

Yeah I noticed that Ford was to cheap to put them on the back door sills, what a joke. I guess they saved a nickel on a 40 K truck.

Use small piece of plastic wrap. Maybe a couple of pieces overlaying each other. When they get dirty, torn, or scuffed, pull 'em up and redo with new.

But on a serious note, I think one of the forum members did find a scuff or sill plate for the back doors. He'll probably chime in with great advice.

I know I had rust start to come through the paint so I bought a can of bed liner, taped off the area I wanted sprayed, and I truck bed lined it. Looks great, holds up great, and I don't fall on my **** if the metal is wet.
