Default Thoughts on cryo treated rotors?

I know the Powerstop Z36 brake kit is very popular, but I am also looking at other options. I see some rotors are offered as cryo treated and wondered if treating the rotor makes a big difference to performance or rotor life.

Would have to say not much. I work in the metal treatment industry. Cryo is a stress relief process. It has a lot of applications where it works well but with the cycles use on a rotor, and the material used, it would seem to be at best only mildly useful.

Not that it's entirely relevant, but I had Drilled/Slotted Cryo rotors on a Honda Civic. They warped and needed replaced at about the same rate as cheap AutoZone rotors.
