It's probably just because the hot young thing in the passenger seat makes him look older in comparison.

I drive a Lariat...damn, guess that means I'm old. But then again age is a perspective thing.

My ex and I both drive Lariats, and we're both 22. We definitely don't look old driving them, and I have had nothing but compliments about my truck from old and young alike since I got it.
