Those running MB TKO wheels, pls. Help
Folks I want to buy these wheels but need clarification.
Wheel specs:
18 by 9
6 by 135
ET 25
Backspace 6.73" (is this possible)
Will these fit?
Tires I'm considering are:
275/70
285/65
295/70
Discount Tire tells me to call Rough Country ( I have the 2.5" level kit on the way) and ask them what is minimum backspace, they say stay at OEM which is 4.xx, not sure. Confused, please help. These wheels are awesome and only $142.00 each shipped!
Many thanks

Go for it. If you do a search there are two of us on here running those wheels. I have a 1" daystar budget boost and super wide tires, 35 x 13.5, but I had to do some trimming. The other guy is running closer to what you are thinking of, 33's.
Sounds like the guy at Discount Tire is not willing to commit to anything. Which is actually not very like them. I don't have the stock wheel specs memorized, but I think they are ET47. So with an ET25 the wheel will stick out roughly an inch from stock.
With a leveling kit there isn't a minimum backspacing like there is for a lift kit. The discount tire guy is confused with the difference.
This

is a good tool to help figure out just how much different your new tire and wheel setup will be.
Here's a link to the album I have of my truck

And a photo, if the link doesn't work

Not at all. If I turn the radio off and actively try to listen for a hum it's there. Barely perceptible above the wind noise. But most of the time it's unnoticeable. Nothing like some mud tires that sound like a flock of angry bees on the road.
