If I had to pick a build date it would be May-June 2013 and later, as that is what mine is and has had no issues. Mine was also built at the Kansas Plant, not sure how the quality is from Dearborn from the same timeframe.

Would be an interesting poll for sure, Hardcore/rdkev are yours Dearborn or Kansas plant trucks?
I think Kansas but don't hold me to that.

I feel for the guys and am disappointed to hear when people have trouble as these are great trucks when you get a good one. Hopefully Ford gets things squared away for these guys soon.
And I'd like to have a million bucks; Some things just won't happen. My CSM already told me off about a decent trade-in value above the dealer's offer of $29,500 trade (are you f'ing kidding me?). The CSM told me that "it's my job to make sure you are satisfied"...Orly?

Anyway, you can probably tell that I'm extremely bitter about the whole situation and won't get too riled up. This Fail-150 has contributed to the most stressful October of my life.

Dearborn over here. My buddy has the exact same truck that I do, and he bought it 2 weeks after I got mine. It was actually the truck I originally ordered, but mine came early. Knew it was too good to be true.

My dad's '11 F-150 Lariat Limited (November 2010 build) is a Dearborn truck and it has had zero issues. Totally flawless truck. I really don't think it matters which plant the truck was built in. Both are almost identical to each other and both have the same standards of building trucks. Mine just happened to be built on a late-August Friday in Dearborn, where the employees were likely thinking about what plans they had for the weekend.

I think the KC F150 EB seemed to have less of the IC issue than the Dearborns, if you look at old threads this question was asked. Might be BS but it seemed that way. I got a KC truck and glad I do.
