Default Theoretical engine swap question

So 2104 f150 4x4 taking out the 5.0 and swapping in the 6.2.
What's involved as far as interchangeability?

Not another engine swap thread.
I think that tail lights are same but as far as under the hood, not much if anything at all.

There is a company that puts LS1s in Porsche 911s. Anything is possible

Well there is no perfect 2014 truck left in the states so I`ve found a 5.0 that's as close except for the 5.0 and an fx4 that has the motor I like.
So It's a case of compromise now.
If I could sell the 5.0 to a mate for his hot rod and chuck in a 6.2 I`d be happy. Just don`t know how much is interchangeable.
I`d figure the computer of course but to the blocks have the same tranny bolt pattern.
I`ll be calling Ford tomorrow just to see.

Haha. Ford isn't going to give up any useful info. Bolt pattern is the same. You realize how much work is involved? Are the fuel systems the same? Who's going to tune and flash the computer and related modules? Better off finding the truck you want with low miles or putting a screw style blower on the truck. Less hassle and more power.
If I was going to do an engine swap id venture into the big bore ls motors. Truck doesn't care what brand is under the hood.

No way is your idea going to work. Like I said before, it isn't like it use to be.
As for some company doing LS1 swaps in to 911's, sure but 911's were produced from 1963 to present and I don't think they will do a newer model.

Why would it not work? Worse come to worse you build new cross members. Fab up new mounts install engine and transmission. People do custom work all the time. It may be more effort then it's worth but it can be done. If you want more power just build up the 5.0
