Sorry. Once the niteshade dried I taped off the red part and left the chrome strip and the edges exposed. Then I sprayed the chrome areas white. When that dried I pulled off all the tape and cleared them.

I understand "liking the look" but why would anyone want to make their vehicle less visible to others, especially at night?

This may come out redundant but for the amount of tint that is put on via nightshade, in my experience, isn't that much. I've always done two coats and a light spray, and that has given me just as good of visibility compared to other tintings

as long as you dont over spray the lights there is no issue with night time visibility. the idea of nightshades is that it is transparent so it can be seen
