Default T-stat leak

Gents, just replaced the t-stat for my new tune..runs great BUT cannot get rid of a slow drip now. Figured it was me at first but I have had it apart 3 times trying to stop the slow drip at the t-stat housing. Any tips before I go get some goop and "gasket" it up? Thanks.

you did replace the gasket and prior to that cleaned both surfaces real good ? thin bead of RTV should fix it.
